Technical Services Team Lead, UK
"I have been with Lumesse for a little over seven years now and I currently lead the technical operations team. As team leader I manage the day-to-day project work along with allocating requests that come from other departments. The culture at Lumesse allows everyone to be part of a team and grow within their role. We are encouraged to think and suggest ways in which we can improve the customer experience and better the services we provide. The favorite part of my job is being able to implement solutions that reduce the risk of service outages and working with current and new technologies that allow us to do this. We try and arrange one or two team nights each year where the team can all socialize and enjoy a few drinks together. On a recent night out we discovered that it’s not advisable to let a certain team member carry a tray of drinks!
In my spare time I enjoy swimming with my two young boys and I have just completed my PADI scuba diving certification and will be scuba diving as much as I can now. I am also studying for a master’s degree in Information Systems Management and I have received support and encouragement from Lumesse to do this."
Product Analyst, Germany
"I started working at Lumesse in the ETWeb Consulting department in 2013 and then moved to Product Management at the end of 2014. Lumesse offers me an inspiring working environment. As a product analyst I validate and translate customer needs into specifications for our new product releases. This requires me to work closely with our consultants, customers and the developers on a daily basis. In the Product Management team my main work focuses on interfaces and data transfer optimizations for new releases.
During my free time I love to compose and produce music as a singer-songwriter using a loop station and various string based instruments. My other hobbies are road biking, beach volleyball and sailing in my own sailing boat in the Netherlands."
Junior Product Analyst, Poland
Kasia has been working at Lumesse since 2007. She started her career as a Customer Support specialist. In 2014 she moved to the TalentLink design team where she now works as a product analyst. Kasia’s role was always very close to our clients, listening to various types of users in order to deliver the best quality product possible.
"Our design team is a combination of diverse professionals like analysts, HR specialists, visual designers and IT gurus and provides an inspirational place to brainstorm, create and evolve. Being amidst customers and developers gives me the opportunity to see the big picture of our solution. Simply put, we transform our users’ ideas into reality."
Senior Solution Consultant, Nordics
"I work as a senior solution consultant, that means that I am involed from a technical and HCM consulting perspective in sales. As my role is based in the Nordics I get to travel quite a lot between Sweden, Norway and Denmark. When working on large projects, collaboration is key and my role within the group is to provide technical and HR expertise.
Lumesse really provides an excellent career opportuntiy if you are looking to challenge yourself. I've been with the company for almost five years now and I love being part of the expansion and growth journey that we have been on.
My favorite aspects of my job are the challenges and pressures to always keep ahead of the curve. There is so much interesting things happening in the HCM arena and to be able to deliver expertise you really need to have a keen interest in learning new things and keeping a close eye on the different trends in the market. Being a solution consultant means that you can't just be an expert in a specific area, you have to be somewhat of a 'Jack of all trades' in everything.
We have so many different nationalities and are truly diverse, we have people with German, Norwegian and Spanish backgrounds just to mention a few. It's fun that we have so many experiences and cultural backgrounds. Everyone is keen on doing things together outside of work as well, from participating in running contests to having time for coffee.
My passion is for dancing and fitness. When I'm not working I spend all my time in either dance classes or at the gym. I am fortunate to be able to combine my dance passion with my passion of learning. If there is a microsecond of free time to spare I will most probably be spending that enjoying a book somewhere."
